Sad news folks...

I'm sad to report that Debbie won't be coming to the wedding. Sad but true.
Her dedication to her family really is an inspiration to me and I hope that one day I will be as great a Mom and Wife.

Taming the sleaze...

Last Friday night I bustled off from work to Sian and Gary's house, where I was to spent the night watching DVDs.

Well, at least that's what I thought...

I opened the door to their apartment and was surprised by Gary, Sian, Yvette and Angelique throwing me a Bachelorette party!! Lots of presents and champagne later, I was dressed in a saucy French Maid's outfit supplied by them and was forced into the car, blindfolded and taken to a secret destination. Needless to say, trying to get up the stairs in said secret location, blinfolded was no easy task, and when I finally opened my eyes I was welcomed by the inside of Teaze-Hers. Yes, Lolly Jackson's answer to frustrated wives who's husbands spend their salary downstairs at Teazers. And that's all I can tell you about that, else I would have to kill you...

After Teaze-Hers we went to Billy the BUMS where I had to fulfill a number of tasks, one of which was to collect an item of men's clothing... I'm sure Yvette can vouch for me completing my tasks as she found said item - beige underwear - in her handbag the next morning! ha ha ha

I am absolutely awe-struck!!

I don't even know what to say besides...
MY SISTER IS COMING TO OUR WEDDING!!!!!!! Yep, Debbie is coming all the way from Australia to spend the day with us!

I am so excited I could pee myself....

Women's Day

With Women's Day being a handy little public holiday, Mike and I decided to use the time to take his parents out for the day. We visited the Cradle of Humankind, and spent the day walking around Maropeng Centre. It was really great - a bit of information overload for a holiday, but awesome nonetheless!
